Letter to my people
Drugs, gangs and alcohol have a big impact on the lives of the indigenous people, mentally, emotionally and physically. In every low income community around the country you are guaranteed to find a liquor store and trap house (drug house) and gang activity on damn near every street corner in these low income communities affecting the lives of our culture. It's sad to say but part of the black culture demise is our fault. Black men gun each other down over a color or turf, Rob each other and influence the drug trade in and out of these neighborhoods. Our elders sit silenced in fear due to the violence behind gang activity, drug pushing and addiction and nonsense occuring because of alcohol abuse often leading to poor decisions like fighting and killing one another. Education levels are very low because black kids see us out here banging, selling and partying and want to be in the mix instead of getting educated because they think they have to do the same thing as the black men and women they look up to are doing, skipping great opportunities to become leaders and being taught to follow instead. We need more positive role models in the lives of our young people not negative role models, we need to remove gang activity, drug and alcohol abuse from our communities and work together for our own sake and encourage each other to make a change in these type of conditions. It seems like we have no respect for ourselves, no self confidence or pride, making lies against us a bitter truth. Unemployment percentage are off the charts because some of us choose to be slanging drugs and gang banging instead of working for a steady income or creating jobs. Pure stupidity is what I call it. Black Lives Matter! Stop black on black crime foolishness, and provide each other with knowledge, wisdom and guidance to be great and achieve goals with our people, lead our people to success not to a grave yard, raise our children to have ambition. Self discipline, dedication and determination is the key to prosperity in Black Culture. Black Lives Matter.
